A new blog (because the I lost my piece of paper with passwords on)

I've decided to start a new blog due to my idiocy in losing the little scrap of paper which had all my passwords scrawled on it. Luckily, most of them are the same but for some reason, my blog was not. Clearly not in a stable state when I created it as I always seem to use the same password (yes, this did mean that the same password was written about twenty times on the same piece of paper).

So, I'm just going to quickly talk about the most pessimistic and politically unstable conference ever, of which I attended yesterday. It was entitled 'You and the future of democracy in Europe' - God, that sounds so fun, doesn't it? I went with the impression that it would be, how should I say, interesting? Ha, so wrong. Ended up being a day of the most socialist people ever talking about how adopting the Euro would eliminate all conflict and we'd all be happy (?!). Not impressed. Left after lunch and went for all you can eat Chinese.
